- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I made the mistake of using an independent jewellers. I bought a silver chain for my daughter for her 16th a year ago. It recently snapped so I took it in to the jewellers and explained that she has been away at military boarding school and has not had much opportunity to wear it so I was surprised it has snapped. I was told "you may be lying"!! The girl in the store said it looked like there was a weak link but that i would be charged to repair it. I told them I was not happy as I had been called a liar and had bought two chains in this shop over the past year ......I am also surprised they would want to loose a customer over a small repair.....I was asked to leave. Although its a nice concept to use independent shops.....I will stick to J*** l**** from now on.....By Admin, May 22, 2019
